ARTS WEEK 2024
The theme for Arts Week 2024 was repeating shapes and patterns. Children were introduced to the work of Damien Hirst, William Morris, Yayoi Kusama and Andy Warhol.
Printing was the focus for the art work and children spent time practising finger printing, sponge printing, printing with fruit and vegetables, string printing and press printing.
During 'Over & Above' assembly the children performed a repeating pattern song they had learnt with Mrs. Mannering. Each year group learnt their own part of the song and they demonstrated how they managed collaborate and keep their own actions and words going throughout the performance. It was amazing!
